Teaching five-year-olds at church is pretty cool. They can go to the bathroom by themselves! They can speak! They stop listening after 20 minutes!Since it's hard to keep their attention for a whole hour, our lessons are usually 10-15 minutes shorter than planned. We play Simon Says to kill time until they have to leave. It's a win-win situation.
Last Sunday, it was this one girl's turn, and she said, "Simon says to think about the church." We all just kind of stood there--thinking, I guess. And then she said, "STOP!" You know, to try to trick us because she didn't say, "Simon says stop"? Needless to say, no one was out that round.
P.S. Happy birthday Mindy!

primary kids are HOOLIGANS! Natalie and I had to teach the 10 year olds last week. We just threw candy at them and let them play hang man.
That's hilarious!
